Sometimes you gotta read between the lines…
Corporate cliches – everyone hates ‘em, and everyone keeps using ‘em.
Let’s be honest: few organizations will be entirely forthcoming about the realities of working for them.
(and few candidates will rush to disclose their own weaknesses, but that’s a story for another day).
So how do you at least prepare for what’s waiting ahead for you if you pass that interview and get a job offer?
The best way to understand what’s working for that employer be like is this:
- Read employee feedback on Glassdoor.
- Look them up by “reviews + a brand name” on Google.
- For smaller companies, who don’t have much of a corporate presence, customer reviews can be a good indicator of how things are done.
