Don’t rehearse your interview replies until you sound like C3PO.
When it comes to rehearsing answers to the common interview questions, practice does not always make it perfect.
On the contrary, with every repetition, you sound less like a real human being and more like a friendly robot who is here to “serve the corporation well”.
Don’t do that. Instead, use the P-I-E acronym.
Rather than rehearsing a word-by-word reply to every question, jot down your main talking points, examples and data. Then think about how you can use them to answer various questions with passion, inspiration and engagement.
If you nail all of these you’ll definitely leave a mark during the interview.
